Best Toothbrush For Autistic Toddler
Best tooth - brush for autistic toddler By: Your One and Only, Online Dental Expert - Writer, Mr. Efrain E. Silva!
When you want to really clean your mouth, an ordinary tooth – brush, I would usually say, is just not enough….. not enough, not enough, not enough! I hope I stressed it : IT’S NOT enough! You need something a little stronger and an electric, moving motor that can work to rotate and rapidly spin all that gunk out of its spot and away from your mouth as much as it possibly can, in this respect. That is where this tooth – brush comes in, once more —- the Oral – B PRO 1000.
HOWEVER, for someone who is autistic, much more a small child, I would NOT, under any circumstances, recommend to you something in the form of electric. Not at all. In fact, it can cause so many other issues that I need not even repeat here on this forum blog. But rather, all in all, the child needs something stable and grounded, like a basic tooth – brush ; but which one can you get him or her?
Well, many parents of autistic children have commented on what I am writing you : They have all come together collectively, in many forums and user review pages, to say the same thing I am telling you now. So please listen.
Now, then. I suggest you look at this one, which is perfect for both little boys and little girls alike, that fight with autism : Amazon.com: bA1 Sensory - 3 Sided Autism Toothbrush for Special Needs Kids - Soft/Gentle - - Clinically Proven, Fun, Easy - Only 1 Minute: Health & Personal Care
Now let me be the very first to let you in on what I call a little secret ( but not that secret, really…. the info on it is out there, he he he he heh ) : this is a 4 – star, super affordable, tooth – brush, all in all. It costs under $10. That’s already a win. Plus, out of nearly 1,000 reviews, it manages to still nearly make 5 stars! That’s quality, when you ask me.
And in addition to all of that, I would also like to let you know that the brush head itself is not just singular or sole…. but it’s triangular, in nature, and designed that way to meet the need better. It’s got 3 heads that brush up against each other and work together like a 3 – headed team, he he he heh. I just had to throw that little reference in there ( in case you do not know what I am talking about, check out the kids’ show, Dragon Tales, on PBS, in which 3 – headed dragons, children with autism and other illnesses, and magical lands come alive on the screen…. terrific show and one that you should not miss, especially if you have a kid of your own with autism…. they will enjoy watching it on TV ) .
