When choosing a product it is important to know what ingredients whent into that product. I went out and actually took pictures of a bunch of different toothpaste products. These pictures include the backs of the boxes and the toothpaste ingredients lists.

One interesting thing that makes the Arm & Hammer brand stand out is their use of baking soda in thier toothpastes ( and all of thier products ). If you look at what is actually included it is listed as sodium bicarbonate which is basically just baking soda. If you want to know what else they include, keep reading.

What sets it apart is the fact that they include peroxide in addtion to baking soda. It is specially designed to give you a deep clean. It specifically targets your gums making sure that they are as healthy as possible.

If you look carfully at the ingredients you will notice that sodium fluoride is the only ingredient that is listed as an "active ingredient". The others are all listed as inactive. Peroxide is listed as sodium carbonate peroxide. That is pretty neat if you wanted to know exactly what chemical they used.
